Why are items missing from my inventory?

Why are items in my Steam inventory not showing up on Rapidskins?

Rapidskins loads items from your Steam inventory using Steam's API, then matches the data from Steam to items in a database. If you are missing items, there are a few possible reasons. Please check though the following steps to learn why your items are missing.

Check your Steam profile is setup with Rapidskins correctly

1
Check your Steam Profile Status on Rapidskins
Open your Profile settings on Rapidskins and find the "Steam Profile Status" section. If your privacy settings show with warnings, follow the steps shown then click "Refresh Steam Profile" to update your Rapidskins profile.
2
Check your Tradelink is setup correctly
Your tradelink is used by Rapidskins to find items in your inventory. CS2 Items you received less than 10 days ago will not be visible unless you have a tradelink setup. You can find the tradelink setup in your Rapidskins account settings.
3
Refresh your inventory on Rapidskins
If you changed your Tradelink or fixed your Steam Profile Status, you will need to refresh your inventory. Above where items show, on the right side of the inventory panel, click the "Refresh 🔄" button to re-fetch your inventory from Steam.

Check the item is tradable

1
Navigate to your Steam Inventory for the game you are missing an item from
On the steamcommunity website, click your name in the navigation bar at the top of the page. This will take you to your Steam Community profile. Click on the "Inventory" link in the right sidebar of your Steam Community profile, which is located under your Level and above your Friends list.
2
Find the item that's missing on Rapidskins in your Steam Inventory
In your Steam Inventory, find the item that is missing on Rapidskins and click on it, which should make details about it appear on the right side of the page.
3
Check the item is tradable
In the item detail box, you should see the items image at the top, and at the bottom a list of Tags. Look for the "Tradable" and "Marketable" tags. If you see "Not Tradeable" or "Not Marketable", the item cannot be traded. Some ceremonial items are never tradable, such a Twitch drops, medals or awards.

Other Reasons an item could be missing

1
The item has been recently added to the game
Rapidskins updates its database of skins a few weeks after they are added to the game. If the item was added recently, it may not be in the database yet
2
The item is not accepted on Rapidskins
Rapidskins does not accept all items. Some examples of items that are not accepted are souvenirs without stickers, legacy case keys, items lower than $1.00 USD and manipulated items.
3
The skin is a Doppler and has not been checked for Phase
If the item is a CS2 Doppler or Gamma Doppler, Rapidskins must inspect it to check the Phase before it can be traded. Although this is done automatically, if it fails it can cause the item to be missing from your inventory. In this case, try refreshing your inventory on Rapidskins.
