What is a tradelink?

What is a tradelink?

A 'Trade Link' is a URL generated by Steam which is unique to your account. It allows other users to send trade offers to you for items in your Steam inventory. Without a tradelink, Rapidskins's bots will not be able to send trades to you.

Is sharing my tradelink safe?

By sharing your tradelink, you only allow other Steam users to send you a trade offer. It does not give them access to change or modify any part of your Steam account. Items will only be taken from your inventory if you accept a trade offer. You should always check a trade offer includes the items you expect and is from the correct account carefully before accepting it, especially when trading with bots like those Rapidskins uses. Rapidskins will always keep your tradelink private and does not share it with any other platform users to prevent others sending you unwanted or malicious trade offers.
